The installation of ITS systems is the final phase of an ITS implementation. At the moment the ITS system is installed and put in operation, it becomes clear if the invidual components co-operate and function well. ARS T&TT has its own department for critical installation activities and the co-ordination of installation activities by third parties. This department has the required elctrotechnical and mechanical engineering capabilities and is able to perform final tests, perform installation, make license requests to the authorities, co-ordinate road side safety measures and provide the required installation documentation. The people working in the department are road safety certified (VCA). As a result of the ITS expertise and experience of the installation department, installation projects can be performed against excellent commercial conditions and the required quality conditions.
