May 2012 – On behalf of Flevoland province, ARS T&TT reports journey times on the province’s road network using floating car data. ARS T&TT calculates journey times based on accurate location and time data obtained from GPS equipment in fleet vehicles specially commissioned to travel across the parts of Flevoland’s road network being studied. Provincial authorities have a legal obligation to report journey time data.
