ITS project are multidisciplinary by definition. Relevant domains are information technology, traffic engineering, electronics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and mathematics. The proper execution of ITS projects requires project management with a broad knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of these domains and structured processes that assist in guiding the projects in a controlled manner.
