The BBA (now Veolia) is a major bus-company in the Netherlands. In this study ARS developed the concepts and the architecture for the central bus management system of the BBA. Leading was the combination of state-of-the-art technologies and concepts with the existing operational organisation and the wishes for extension of this organisation. The management system included the operator functions, the communication to buses, the communication to bus stops, management information and real-time traveller information.
