In 2006 ARS T&TT has commissioned a video detection service for the transport of dangerous goods to the Ministry of Transport. The mobile system was used to detect the passage of freight vehicles that had EU standardised ADR plates, indicating the presence of dangerous goods in the vehicle. The service has been applied on 200 locations on the Dutch motorways.
