PRELUDE generates real-time traffic data that is obtained from vehicles with geographical positioning (GPS) and mobile communication equipment (GSM). This so called Floating Car Data system was developed by ARS T&TT for the Ministry of Transport. The system includes map matching software and algorithms for traffic data modeling and travel time prediction.
