The traffic information systems from ARS T&TT are applied for the collection, processing and distribution of traffic information. The collection of the data may be performed from raw traffic data and pre-processed traffic data from a variety of sources, such as road operators. During the processing stage, the raw data is reworked to a format in which it can be digested by the users using European standards such as Datex and TPEG. The traffic information systems are used by professional traffic information centres. The traffic information is distributed to end users through a range of media to professional users and end users. These media include Internet, GPRS, RDS/TMC.
